"What are your biggest musical influences?"

Submit your questions through the form at
http://www.brainslur.com/main.shtml

2.Submit a review.
Strange Attractor the album, or a single song. Visit the form at http://www.brainslur.com/press.shtml to send in your thoughts on the music. Not only do you stand a chance to win a promotional CD, but your review will be published on the Brainslur site pending the webmaster's approval!

3.Sign the guestbook.

Everyone who does so with a valid email address (which won't earn you extra spam from Brainslur, or robots, as it is mangled) will be entered in a drawing for a free copy of Strange Attractor. the return of brainslur

http://www.brainslur.com is back in business! Due to several server issues, the site was operating with a skeleton crew of webpages; all essential information stayed on the internet, but interactivity was nonexistent.

The downtime also resulted in the loss of information from the Strange Attractor favorite song poll and all subscriptions to the mailing list. So please visit and vote again, as well as resubmitting your email information for infrequent announcements. In addition, please do sign the guestbook.

Everyone who ordered Strange Attractor from the bulk order should have received their CDs. Unfortunately, however, the black Ts are on hold indefinitely. Those who purchased the shirts in advance will receive them; it is only a matter of patience. Please contact feedback@brainslur.com or payment@brainslur.com with any questions.

Progress is being made on Brainslur's fourth release, tentatively titled The Thing That Never Was. All tracks have been recorded, mastered and arranged. The album is awaiting artwork and reproduction is imminent.

Brainslur, previously listed at Ampcast, MP3 and the Artist Direct/Ultimate Band List websites, is also pleased to announce its presence on IUMA, the Internet Underground Music Archive. The page can be visited at http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/Brainslur.
Brainslur can also be found listed at http://www.normanmusicscene.com and http://www.okcbands.com.

A very positive review of Strange Attractor was written by Richard Kirk and is now posted on the website. Fans are encouraged to submit additional reviews to tell the world what they think about Brainslur. Email feedback@brainslur.com with the subject "review" and watch for the words to be posted. If you need tunes to carry around with you, bulk order CDs are still available for $10.00 each, total cost, and can be ordered directly from the official website. In addition, regularly priced CDs at $10.99 plus $2.00 shipping can be bought from Ampcast - http://www.ampcast.com/brainslur.

Lastly, The Thing That Never Was is available in Real Audio format throughout the holiday season as a special sneak treat. Visit http://www.brainslur.com/music to stream it.

brainslur v1.1

A few edits and additions have just been uploaded to http://www.brainslur.com.

The main page now begins with an "oddments" section which will contain everchanging information - images, news, quotes, special features. This section will be updated frequently to ensure fresh content for visitors. Below it is a standard introductory blurb. The list of links has been expanded and annotated and, ad-style, "buy now" bits about the "Strange Attractor" CD and T-shirts are featured above the current poll. In addition, the "CD Changer" is a list of current music recommendations.

There is now a merchandising page which contains links to the opportunity to purchase CDs at Ampcast and also the CafePress Store with Brainslur Tshirts. On this page, viewers have an opportunity to preview CD artwork and clothing screens. In addition, there is a link to PayPal purchasing for the small stock of CDs and pre-orders of black Ts available directly from Brainslur.

The music page has been updated with track listings from Brainslur's two out of print releases. Kiddies, these are so rare we don't even have copies complete in their packaging! However, select songs have been reworked and may be available in the future.

The news page has Brainslur's first press release included and is awaiting additional information. The biography page has been changed to a kit for the press page, where releases are categoried and a space for reviews and articles has been set aside.

Check it out; enjoy your visit. Don't forget to stream Real Audio onsite or click over to Brainslur's official music page at Ampcast (http://www.ampcast.com/brainslur) where .mp3 files are available for streaming and the "Strange Attractor" CD can be purchased. Vote for your favorite song, be sure to sign the guestbook, subscribe to the mailing list for inside information, and come back soon!

brainslur's first press release

On July 7, 2003, www.brainslur.com version 1.0 went live. A short descriptive burst about the musical project, contact information and a music section containing streaming real audio are included on the site, which is also a portal to the opportunity to purchase "Strange Attractor" - Brainslur's first official release - as well as a store for T-shirts. A news section is sure to add fresh content on a regular basis, and an interactive guestbook is waiting for your comments. Please go listen, pick your favorite song - and, if you haven't, you may wish to select some clothing or music. Don't forget to sign up for "Brain Droppings," Brainslur's official newsletter.
